SAFETY SHUT-OFF GAS VALVES

Safety shut-off gas valve is a device designed for automatic cutoff of the gas supply in case of pressure boost above requested actuation value.

FIELD OF APPLICATION and OPERATING PRINCIPLE:

Safety shut-off valve is usually installed in gas distributing plants and units in front of the pressure regulator-stabilizer and provides control of the output pressure received behind the regulator. The signal about the deviation of the gas pressure from the set value is sent to the safety shut-off valve through the impulse tube connected to the output pressure gas pipeline. The value of the monitored pressure is adjusted by regulating the spring in the safety shut-off valve. When the set value of pressure behind the regulator is exceeded, the safety shut-off valve closes and shuts off the gas supply in the pipeline. The valve can only be opened manually after eliminating the cause of gas pressure excess above the controlled one.

MAXIMUM INPUT PRESSURE:

  • up to 6 bar.

ADJUSTMENT RANGE OF CONTROLLED PRESSURE:

  • 60-230 mbar;
  • 200-440 mbar;
  • 420-700 mbar.

Upon individual request: manufacture with different adjustment range.

Solenoid safety gas valves block unit in angle version is a set of solenoid safety gas valves and other gas fittings unit assembled into a single gas train (gas filter, pressure regulator-stabilizer, motorized gas valve, safety relief gas valve, safety shut-off gas valve, pressure switch, etc.).

In the units, the main safety valves and the gas filter are applied in an angle version.

Valve block units in angle version can be used at facilities where the circumstances are such that it would be difficult to assemble a linear block unit due to the face-to-face length. Furthermore, such units can be used in the process of design and development of measures aimed at restructuring of heat and power facilities, where the replacement of outdated gas train is required and the space is limited due to the existing gas pipeline supply, location of the boiler units and gas igniters.

TERMOBREST’s gas valve block units are suitable for any automated control system of boiler and burner equipment and can be used in the gas supply circuits for steam and hot water boilers of various types, including high-power boilers: PTVM, DKVR, DE and KVGM.
